Background
I am a qualified reflexologist and healer and have been teaching meditation for 5 years.
Prior to that I worked for 27 years as a solicitor during most of which time, as well as working for clients, I was responsible for training in the private practice where I was employed.
Whilst working as a lawyer and being the family’s main wage earner, I brought up three children and qualified as a reflexologist. I am therefore will acquainted with stress and it was during this time (about 15 years ago) that I started using the Relaxation Response and other meditation techniques, with considerable benefit. I have since attended a number of meditation courses and retreats.
When I left the legal world I decided to use my training and meditation experience to set up my Meditation course and, more recently, the Relaxation and Stress Management course.
My aim is to help other people benefit from the simple and effective techniques which have helped me so much.
Qualifications
I am qualified with a certificate from the Bayly School in 1996. I am a member of the British Reflexology Association and a member of the Association of Reflexologists.
In addition to my Bayly School qualification I have attended courses in Precision Linking, Maternity Reflexology, Fertility Reflexology and VRT (Introductory, Advanced & Endocrine).
I a Full Healer Member of the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. I work as a healer one evening a fortnight at the NFSH Healing Centre in Wimbledon.
I have a degree from the University of Cambridge in Law and Engineering.
My experience and successes
While training and in the 5 years since I qualified I have treated people with a wide range of symptoms and disorders. Amongst others, I have treated clients with:
For some of these disorders, particularly the more serious ones where the person is simultaneously undergoing medical treatment, it is not possible to judge the exact effect of the reflexology. However people almost without exception feel more relaxed and better in themselves after a reflexology treatment; this alone is often a considerable benefit.
Areas where, so far, I have found reflexology to have the most easily measurable beneficial results are with:
